Hello, I am Andrew Young, and I am the owner & founder of Legacy Plumbing and SWG Academy.
The Plumbing Service Industry is the best industry to know because it is recession proof and pandemic proof. No matter what happens, plumbing is a necessity for a clean and healthy society.
That is why I created the only training program designed for the Plumbing Service Industry.​
My Upbringing
I was born and raised in Prunedale, California until I was 14 years old. I then moved to Nevada and did my high school years there. That's where I fell in love with automotive mechanics.
After high school I went to a trade school for automotive mechanics in Arizona and graduated, the going to Florida to become a Mercedes Benz Technician.

After 4 years, I moved back to Monterey Bay and decided to try something new - plumbing. It reality, the mechanics are all the same, water movement and water heating are just slightly different.
Building My Business
After 15 years of working for other companies, both big and small, I decided it was time for me to take the next step and start my own business.

During this time, I worked on creating a one-of-a-kind training system and wanted to be able to teach and spread the knowledge of the Plumbing Service Industry, with the creating of a unique learning experience.

That's how SWG Academy was born.
